DHL Global Forwarding will become a partner of WorldSkills Competition 2019 in Kazan

DHL Global Forwarding and the organizing committee of the 45th WorldSkills Competition have signed The Letter of Intetion in Kazan on September 19th. The document was signed by Olga Nedospasova, Deputy Director General for Marketing and Partner Relations of WorldSkills Russia, by Ranko Tepavcevic, Deputy Director General of the Directorate for Sports and Social Projects, and by Natalia Bochkova, Director General of DHL Global Forwarding. David Hoey, Chief Executive Officer of WorldSkills International and Alexander Amiri, Director of Sponsorship and Partnership of WorldSkills International, took part in the signing ceremony.

Within the scope of the agreed cooperation DHL Global Forwarding will assist the participants, partners and sponsors of the WorldSkills Competition in 2019 by importing goods and providing customs clearance services for the goods.

“Our companies have a lot in common. We all try to make the World better. WorldSkills International develops professional skills, moves them up to demands of the trade by setting high standards of professional training and skills. I’m pretty sure that with extensive experience of our company we will help all the participants and partners to avoid all the difficulties connected with customs formalities and make sure that everything goes well. We are ready to assist throughout the period of the competition. We hope that with your help, transportation and logistics competencies will become more popular and the industry become more successful in the World,” said Natalia Bochkova.

Director General of DHL Global Forwarding noted that employees of the company participate in the development of the “Transportation and logistics” skills sector as WorldSkills experts.

“In the 2019 WorldSkills Competition we will have additional members, who joined us since 2017. We have 4 new skills plus FutureSkills competitions that also will be held here,” added David Hoey.

From 22 to 27 of August Kazan will bring together participants of the WorldSkills competition from more than 70 countries who will compete in over 50 skills.
